Privacy

This page describes the data used by Duet’s iPhone validation build. It will be reviewed and updated before public sale.
Information Duet stores
Your Apple-backed account identifier and profile metadata; couple membership and invitation state; naming-project preferences; your reactions and private Maybe list; mutual matches; and coarse funnel milestones.
How privacy works between partners
Your individual Pass, Maybe, and Love reactions remain private. A name becomes shared only when both partners independently mark it Love.
Analytics
Duet records pseudonymous identifiers, timestamps, event names, and coarse progress. Analytics do not contain names, name IDs, reactions, rankings, notes, constraints, or rejected choices.
Service providers
Duet uses Apple for sign-in and Supabase for authentication, database, and server functions. Purchase providers will be disclosed before Duet Plus becomes available.
Retention and deletion
Data remains while your account and active project exist. In-app account deletion removes your account and closes the shared couple and naming project, so the other partner also loses access to that shared project.
Sale and advertising
Duet does not sell personal information and does not use behavioral advertising.
